Well first off.. you are going to have to know a bit more about what you are doing before you get into it. Depends on what year injected engine you have then you have to get the appropriate carubrated intake. A carburator. Distributor and a fuel pump. Becuase it is an EFI engine you will need a remotely mounted electric fuel pump for a caburator with a regulator set to 7 psi. Reason being injected engines do not have the lobe on the camshaft thats set to drive a mechanical engine mounted fuel pump.
But knowing more about what your asking would be a great help. And a little more time typing out your post and spell checking it.

did you mean center bolt valve covers? that is the later model tpi engine? Like Revolution said and then some. You will need to change the cam, it will work with a carb but not as well as one for a carb. I would look into getting a closed loop PCM to run the injection system and forget the carb all together, but thats just me. Contact Turbo City or Arizona Speed and Marine.

if you can find a caprice or impala or camaro or firebird in 1987 and 1988 some were still carbureted, this intake fits and its made for the center bolt fuel injected heads
the difference is in the angle of the center holes of the heads and intake, they changed in 87
the otehr 4 holes in the intakes and heads stayed the same angle though(for each side of the engine)
otherwise you would have to swap the heads for 86 and older ones in order to put an 86 and older(the old perimeter bolt style heads) intake on it
good luck
