Ok, I need help fast, kind people!
There is a car for sale that i really want- a '67 chevy impala. It is fairly cheap(in the price range my parents have requested) but I am concerned with the prices of repairs. The car I have been looking at has a majorly rusted roof, a missing drivers side window, and "The trunk needs the included pieces to be welded to close properly", and the hood needs to be realigned. How much are these repairs going to cost? I am afraid that if the repairs cost too much, I will have no chance at getting my dream car. Please help!

Are you going to do any of this work yourself?

If you don't have the money to fix it up and maintain the expensive parts, then pass. I have passed up many cars in my teens and early 20s because I knew the cost of maintaining them would be way above my income.

yeah, it'll be thousands in repairs. if you really want it, maybe bust ass and work for cash to put into it. it will be a money pit though

well, my friend's dad repairs classic cars, and might be able to get me a discount, but if it will be that much, i should probably just find another car. thanks.
