I have a '97 Geo Metro LSI, 4 cyl. auto, ran great alll summer. Last night was the first really cold night of the year. THis morning, the car will start, run for 2 or 3 minutes, and then die. It will not restart for at least 15 minutes at which point it will again run for 2 or 3 minutes. The car has a new fuel filter and new plugs. Does anyone have any ideas? :dunno:

how does the car idle. the cold may make it hard for the car to idle properly and then it would die. it could also be the throttle position sensor (TPS). CF-Mike's RX7 would die at idle before we adjusted the TPS
