whatever makes you happy.
in my honest opinion, i prefer a more subtle look. (this is from page 34 of the official photography thread  )

dont u think vd's would be awesome on it?
i'm sure i'll feel like a moron, but what are vd's? if they're lambo doors, then no i think they look horrible. the only cars that can get away with them are supercars because they're just that flamboyant anyway.
they're pretty dangerous too, roll your car and the doors won't work anymore. course, roll your car and the doors might not work because everything is shaped different after a roll

I'd go with something lighter and smaller than 20" giavannas. It's a M3, not a 7-series.
that's my opinion as well. really no car needs 20 inch rims. outside of looks(if that's the thing you like) it does nothing but negatives to your car. kills mpg, performance, and handling in most cases

vd's are virticle doors....the m3 comes stock with 19 inch rims...wat will 1 inch matter??

I read a test article where they put some blingin 19" versus the stock 18" rims on their 911 and killed their slalom and skidpad performance. I believe it was Motor trend (about a year ago).
Not only that, I'm not expecting them to be the lightest wheels. It's your car, I'm just giving my dumb opinion.

actually, the 2001 M3 came with 18" rims. My advice, keep your stock rims, and go with a subtle kit, if any.

iam not really goin to race it though...its for looks....i might like street race my friends a couple times but its for loooks
that's on you then, but you will be making your car slower in every way

so wats the deal with the lambo doors....y arent they cool?
i just think they suck, lots of people do
ok a further explanation... for me it's flamboyant, as i said before. also it's just tasteless to me for someone to modify a nonsupercar to try to be like a supercar, poserish. they're rediculous and the only place they fit is on a 200+ thousand dollar car
