hey whats up, My parents have offered me 2 cars, that they will buy me. The thing is that I have to choose one of them for college. The 2 cars I can choose from are a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX or a 1973 Pontiac Firebird. The Evo is putting out 286 hp and the firebird is putting out 475hp. Which would you choose and why would you choose that one. Thanks

I would choose the Evolution because it suits my driving style. I like direct steering and crisp handling because it is what really gets my heart pumping. I also like road racing so I'd start with the right tool for the job, as well. On that note, if I wanted a drag racer, I'd pick the Firebird.

heh both are nice cars. but think about it. 06' or 73'? big difference there. lol, impress the ladies, they love those mitsubishi's! for some reason a lot tend to veer away from older hotrods! lol, j/k, but hope college goes great for you!

get the evo, newer car so you can depend on it for longer. and it gets better mileage, turns and stops better

Go for the Evo. It's a combination of amazing performance and value. I particularly liked the Infinity audio system of it.

If your bringing it to college, get the car that makes more sense.
