I was driveing today with the ac on max, It was in the 90s. After about 10 min of driveing there was a noise that came fromt the front of the car and smoked started to come out of the vents. The smell that came out was like a sweet smell. After that i tryed to turn the ac back on to see what happens and it made the odd noise again and it stoped working. I tryed to turn on the heater to see if that worked but that does not work as well. I was wondering if any one could help me plz.

Sounds like something to do with the heater core. What you smelled sounds like anti-freeze? Have you checked the level of it or for any leaks under the van?

Yeah when it came out of the vents it was like a sweet anti-freeze smell. I look under the car and could not see a leek and the lvls look good for my anti-freeze. Im going to take it out for another test run and watch to see every gage is working right. Will be back in a hour or so.
