Hi, I'm looking to sell my 91 geo storm and somebody I work with knows somebody who needs a new engine and trans for his metro, I don't know what year he has or anything. Can a 91 storm gsi motor and trans be swapped into the metro without any serious modification? Thanks.

nope, the storm is an isuzu and the metro is a suzuki

tell the metro guy to either go to a junk yard with a buddy and yank one out, since the engine and trans only weigh like 130lbs or order a jdm one. i've heard that in japan they replace their metro(suzuki swift) engines around 30 or 60 thousand miles. it's easier to pass emissions that way or something. he should look into that. i'm not positive but i think he can get one for around 500 bucks
