Hey, I'm quite new at driving and I'm going to get my drivers license in a few months and I have a question. I love Mitsubishi Lancer Evo's and I would like to know if it is a nice car for a first car. I'm not going to put any money or make it fast in any way without 2+ years of driving experience. Does it drive well in snow and rain? Easy to control and steer?

Also, I'm not that great with cars but I'm learning, reading, and signed up for auto classes when school starts back up in 10 days. How does importing work, around how much would it cost to import a car, and where can you find out how to import a car? I seen a Lancer Evo that I'm guessing was imported because of the drivers seat was on the right side. Would it cost alot to buy a imported Lancer Evo? Thanks.

I would not get one as a first driver for my kid. They're fast by themselves and could get away from you all too easily. They're also pretty expensive.

Importing a car that is already available here would be a waste of money, time, and resources. Don't bother.

Get it, Total it, Tuners get cheap parts, works for us. That car has 300 HP( maybe less), is the fastest stock import in the country so hell no don't get it as your first car. If you have $35K to buy an evo I'm sure you can affort a beater. By something for $1.5K practice with it for like 3 months and then sell it and get the evo. You don't need to import the evo so i dunno y u asking about importing.
