98 diamante overheated. i went to open the hood and the cable broke.
how in the world do i get the hood open now????

wtf lol only way i would think of is getting under the car and see if u can get ur arm up to the cable otherwise i aint gotta clue, someone should be able to help.. bump

if nothing else works get a crow bar.......i'm not serious

do you know where the cable broke? if it just broke from the handle or near it, you can just look under the dash, and yank it.

if not, and you can get to the engine bay from under the car, you may be able to pull it from there.

otherwise, i'm not sure. dunno how your release cable is routed...
