From LLN:

Chrysler will end production of its Ram SRT-10 pickup at the end of the 2006 model year, according to a McClatchy newspaper report. The truck — which is powered by a 500hp, 8.3-liter Dodge Viper V10 — earned an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records as the "fastest production pickup truck. It can reach 60 mph in under 5 seconds. Only about 2000 SRT-10s have been built each year since 2004.

Never heard of it...

At least we beat Ford...that's all that really mattered. I will miss it though...such a beautiful truck. Atleast I get to go down the street and see one everyday...one of the local business uses one for advertisment.

Well the fast lightning only lasted 5 years and the SRT-10 only lasted 3. Have been pondering getting a 06 QC in 08 or 09 :D

i did about a 60 roll race with the four door automatic one, and i was far from impressed. but i drove one of the 6 speed 2 doors, and they are pretty quick.

guess what we'll be getting if GM decides to bring back the "El Camino SS" :)

it kicks ass, no question about it.
