:dunno: got a 95 intrepid 164k miles 2nd trans. this one now won't shift out of low gear. doesn't seem mechanical. when i disconnect all the connectors and reconnect it shifts into one gear then stays. no erro codes before i disconnected the connectors and suggestions

That sounds mechanical to me.

You said you disconnect the connectors and it still shifts into one gear and stays, isn't that the same thing as not shifting out of low gear?

I would take it into a tranmission shop and have it looked at.
