does anyone have a 1999-2005 sierra with a 4.8 that has that loud, race car, set the car alarms off sound? if so do u have a sound clip i could here and wut kind of exhaust add-ons do u have????

why do you want loud exhaust? You like getting harassed by the cops?

Wow, did that when i was 16.

when i started high school, that's what alot of the older guys did with their trucks. got em in a lot of trouble too, lol.

now they just stick to straight pipes and different Flowmasters.

the 2000+ Z71s sound pretty good with just straight pipes. not obnoxious at all.

see, well the thing is, trucks these days have those stupid o2 sensors which makes it hard to do anything to them when it comes to exhaust....and no idc about getting harrased by the cops....theres no noise pollution law where i live and i can always get electric cutouts...................

o2 sensors have nothing to do with it. A lot of exhaust companies make MIL kits.

mil kit? wut like sims ya those are expensive....on older trucks its so much easier doing anything though....

I hate thoes O2 sensors I'm trying to fuigue out how to get loud exaust with my '99 jimmy but everyone who knows anything about cars is telling me that if I mess with the exaust the O2 sensors will be off and then my computer will get jacked up.

People always say that if you mess with the o2 sencers that it wel mess p your computer in whick if you dont do it right it well take you vechicle out of fuel control. I have a 1997 gmc serria which had a 5.7 after a few shots on the bottle it blew up now i have a 6.4 L. 383 with obd2 its hard do motor changes casue of the computer. You want loud exhaust get a headers for it and a electric cut out and throw a cheep muffler glasspak then send you computer out to eds engerniring and have your computer programed he can take out the o2 sensor readings and you wont have to worry about it

go to an exhaust shop and have one built if you are really dedicated.. get some straights, and get ready to get pulled over alot.. i used to get pulled over with a glasspack often enough..
