Sup fellas and gals! I'm new to the VW scene and figured this would be a good place to start. Here's what i picked up...
03 GTI VR6 - 49K - 6 speed/Manual

The only thing I've done to it so far is an AEM cold air intake and AEM bypass valve since I live in FL and it rains all the time / anytime.
Anyway.. my question is in regards to upgrading the exhaust system.. header and everything. The thing is I don't want it to sound like a weedwacker on steroids. I was hoping someone might have a video of what their car sounds like and would be willing to give me the layout to what they have installed. Right now I'm leanin' towards magnaflow, 2.5'' pipe..but not too sure about the muffler.. IDK.. I've also considered the flowmaster "hush flow" muffler. Any help or recomendations for upgrades, parts, etc. would be greatly appreciated...
