Where is the fuse for the Cigarette located in my 1999 Mercury Sable LS? Also what is the amp rating on it? I need to know so I can replace it. Also if anyone can tell me if this owners manual is the same one for my model that would be great.

there should be a fuse pannel (from cars ive had) on the side of the dash in an area covered by the door when its closed, or on the side of the center console under the dash... those are the only 2 places ive seen them on the cars ive had (2000 frontier, 91 saturn, 2001 f350, 2000 s10, 1997 dodge 2500, 1998 saturn)... there should also be a fuse relay center under the hood if im not mistaken.. ive never owned or worked on a sable though so it may be different. my guesses are it will be on the panel in the cabin area.

Ok its under there. But what amp rating is it and what fuse number is it?

on the cover door, there should be a diagram showing where the fuses are and the rating i do believe

:woot: THE FUSE PANEL IS LOCATED UNDER THE FOOT WELL IN THE CAR ON THE LEFT SIDE ATTACHED CLOSE TO THE STEERING COLUMN, IT ALSO HAS A MASTER FUSE IN THE HOOD IN THE FUSE BLOCK, THE FUSES ARE MARKED INDEPENDENTLY SO BE CAREFULL ON WHICH U REMOVE!! HOPE THIS HELPS
