I have a question!! How do I do an all wheel drive burnout with my Evo IX. How would I go about doing this? I dont want to break anything on my car while doing it but could you give me the steps on how I would go about it. I have seen it done in video clips but I would like to find out how to did it. So please lend a hand and let me know what you think. Thanks

It's not the easiest thing to do, I'll get you a video of what these guys did in a STi to accomplish a burnout. Give me a little bit to find it and I'll post the link.

Its proably not very good for your car....and rather pointless for racing purposes

Surley the only way with a AWD car is just to plant the pedel deeeep into the carpet?

Not even that will help..... honestly you need a lot of water and a ton of power to do an AWD burnout. Not saying I haven't seen people spin all 4 tires on a launch, but to keep them spinning takes some talent and HP. Here is a video of a guy doing a 2WD burnout in an STi.....

These were the instructions given.....it REALLY can't be good for the car:

pull the e brake up a little bit so the dccd will tell the comp to disconnect the diff then push the clutch down with your left foot and with your right foot press the gas and the break using your heel and toe then rev up and let it rip

Don't even bother. It will burn the **** outta your clutch.

from what i understand they start out w/ left foot on the clutch, and the rt foot on the brake and the gas.. then once you get the rpms up drop the clutch keep the rmps high and move the lft foot to the brake and just do it that way..

some people don't know when you step on the brake in awd you slow the wheel spin also. sorry that does not work.try another guess
why not just not do it? sounds pretty dumb to abuse your car like that just to show off

burnouts are for drag racing. unless your dragging, don't bother.
it strains the car, and it's an expensive way to show off.
sure, you'll get smiles, cheers, hoops and hollers from the crowd...but i'd only advise it if you've got bald tires and/or if you've got the cash-flow to easily replace the tires along with any parts that break due to premature wear.
