i am 15 about to turn 16 and i want an eclipse integra or civic and if i got an eclipse what kind of eclipse should i get i have about 8,000 saved up. should i take an eclipse over an integra or a civic?

The only eclipse I would buy is a 2nd gen. GSX. AWD, turbo, 4g63...it's a good performer. The GS-T is the same car but with lame FWD.

being 16, any fast car is going to be driven into a tree or something else on or off the road. you should really just look for something reliable and cheap, because you will damage whatever your first and probably second car are. well, safe too....

the thing is though, how many young males don't race around or act dumb behind the wheel? i'm sure females too overjudge their skill. my point is just that i wouldn't go dropping all my savings into the first car. you're bound to wreck it, or have something happen. just get some pos to learn on for a couple years. i know, you know how to drive; we all did at the time.

and common selse? it's something that's not quite so common. i wonder when it will be called uncommon sense...

I didn't. You make a valid point, though.

First spend about $500 on a crappy car but just make sure the engine, tranny, and clutch are ok. Drive that around for a month or 2 so you can learn how to drive a stick so you don't burn the clutch on the car you want. Then sell it and then get A eclipse GST. Spend about 4-5k$ on the car and use the rest of yo money to make it a little faster. That's what I'm doing.
