Hypertech has multiple programing chips for your GMC and other GM Vehicles......... This is just one so check this out..........

Hypertech Power Programmer III - Dual Fuel Tuning

Hypertech Power Programmer III Tuner is easing the pain of rising prices at the gas pump. Hypertech has developed exclusive "Dual Fuel" tuning calibrations that deliver virtually the same power increases with regular gas as they do with premium. Hypertech's Power Programmer III is the only device that offers this powerful Dual Fuel feature.
"The truth is that most trucks make exactly the same power on tuning optimized for regular as they do with optimized premium gas", explained Mark Heffington, the founder and president of Hypertech. "For these vehicles, there is never a reason to use more expensive premium unleaded gas."
While some competitors claim to have tuning for regular gas, their calibrations for regular gas typically make no more power than the stock tuning. In contrast, Hypertech's optimized power tuning for regular gas produces virtually the same power gains as the premium gasoline tuning. For example, Hypertech Power Tuning for a 2003 Hummer H2 with a 6.0-liter V-8 engine adds 17 horsepower over stock with regular gas and 22 horsepower with premium gas.
Hypertech Power Tuning for regular grade fuel is substantially more powerful than stock tuning with either regular or premium fuel", Heffington noted. "Simply stated, this means increased power for less money. It's a win-win situation because truck and SUV drivers get more power for towing and save an average of 25 cents per gallon at the pump." Those savings can add up. If a truck owner buys 50 gallons of gas a week for a year and saves 25 cents per gallon with regular unleaded, the annual savings is $650 dollars. At that rate, Hypertech Power Programmer quickly pays for itself.
Hypertech builds, tests, certifies and sells on-highway power-enhancing products that are safe, legal and optimized for the best possible performance. Unlike reprogramming devices that are sold for "off-highway" use only, Hypertech's Power Programmer is street legal in all 50 states, with certification received or pending from the California Air Resources Board (CARB). This assures owners of Hypertech products that they will meet certification requirements when undergoing emissions tests administered by state or local agencies.

gas isnt all that bad....yet. its not stopping my driving habits, i still hit the fun pedal all the time. :)

that sounds like quite the tune if it really works like they say it does as for as HP goes. of course i have heard people report of worse gas mileage after using regular fuel, and i have heard people claim that it makes no difference, you may wanna factor that into the equation. i wont make any suggestions/recommendations on fuel effiecenty part of it, but for the HP/TQ-that sounds great.

Gas prices gas prices, well as American we like our big trucks and big engines. It seems that people would rather sacrafice other purchases than sacrafice getting rid of there big fast engines. Before you know people are going to stop buying food to eat just so they can cover the gas for their 6.0 400HP GTO's 11.9 MPG.

If A is success in life, then A equals x plus y plus z. Work is x; y is play; and z is keeping your mouth shut.

My Big bad V8 Hemi gets 16.3 mpg average. Whereas, the SRT-10 Ram I'm looking at buying gets 8.3 mpg average. I'm shooting for the SRT-10!

Hey man, that's thier own damn fault. It's not like the petrol resellers in Europe actually pay more for gasoline then we do over here. They TAX THE SHIT out of it over there to come up with those ludicrous prices. That wouldn't fly in America. We'd have ourselves another tea party...

Won't really care about gas untill the summer when its 3.25 for 93octane. Sometimes I find a gas station near where I'm at in the summer that sells 98octane and I fill on that for $4 a gallon.
