My 3000gt just quit the other day. It sounded like a cloged fuel line or maybe a fuel pump needed. I took it to my mechanic and he said it's the computer. He said he can get a used one and install it for around $850. to $950. Im trying to see how much they $$$ are just for the used computer online but obviously their not just called "computers". Does anyone know what they are exactly called for me to look it up or know any other information about what the hell this computer thing he's talking about is? I just put a neww motor in it about 5 months ago and im sick of spending $ on this very expensive paper weight of mine. I really love my car but i take good care of it and it seems like it always has something wrong with it and it always ends up costing a fortune. Just want to check online this time for this thing so i dont feel i could be getting ripped off.

A new ECU should not cost even close to that much IMO.

Look around and see if you can find a reman.

check 3si.org And you may be intitled to a new one from mitsubishi.. They are doing a recall on some of the ECU's check into it.
