i have two problems with my alero, first the flasher relay is going and i dont know where it is located. second,it wont start i turns over and fires but then it dies. none of the dash lights are on. i dont know where to begin.

There is alot there that could be wrong and so many un knowns. Have you tried looking into any of this at all. How many miles on the car? Previous electrical problems?
Fuel issues?

there are 40,000 miles on the car. there hasnt been problems in the past
