i have a 94 buick skylark 3.1 engine needs transmission and i have a 93buick skylark and was thinking about putting the tranny out of it into the 94 will it work 93 has a 3.3 engine

Are these automatic or manual transmissions? Do the electronics on both seem to be the same? A 1 year difference shouldn't make that big of a difference, I just searched the consumer guides and they don't mention any tranmission changes from one year to the next.
