Pretty sinister looking. Kind of looks like Darth Vader's helmet with wheels.

Its going to look much better when it makes it to production. The hood will not look like that. There will be a buldge similar to the E46 M3 when they its all said and done. I will be glad when these are released. Thanks to the platform the E90 M3 won’t be as subdued as the E46 M3 is.

BMW has delivered well on each generation. I expect the same this one, as well.

Not really the E46 was a dissapointment to me. I would rather have an E36 over an E46 anyday.

I'm sorry to hear that. Though, I'd pick an E30 over all of them.

To me the E46 is just too refined too unresponsive it has lost too much of its soul in the name of luxury. True but good luck finding E30 M3 at a good price that hasn't been beaten to shit.

Which is exactly why I don't own one.

Same here. However it would be nice to own one. I know a guy here in town with one and lets just say rules were followed to the letter not to the intent.

It's a gorgeous example. What class/body is he racing in? How extensive is that roll cage?

He said it was set up to run BMW CCA events before he moved here but he hasn't had time to take it out to the track since then. He built the car up when he was going to school up north (not sure where) so him and his friends were doing it as a project.

I would much rather have one of my other friends old cars or better yet his new one. The guy has been running SCCA Solo II for years.

This is the old one

Looks pretty agressive...with some aftermarket wheels and coilovers that puppie can be adopted. Nice , i cant wait until it hits the street!

Yea the E30 is the last true one IMHO, well, from the research ive done in the past week or so. Now it's just a pissing contest between BMW and Audi.

E30's are nice I'd love to get one myself, and I'd Love to get an E36 just so I could race it, I couldn't see spending the money on my E46 it would seem almost not worth it. But I'm really digging the E90's

The more I think about the E90 and its price tag the more I like the Z4 M Coupe.
