i want to add a holley 150hp series fuel pumpthat supports up to 900hp and i wanted to know if the pump added 150hp to my car. and i also wanted to add fuel injecters to my car instead of my carborater, and i wanted to know how much hp fuel injecters usually add

It sounds like you have a lot of book hitting to do... but you're on the right track as to asking questions before committing to a plan.

Just bumping up your fuel pressure won't help your HP. That pump is designed for a big motor that needs a lot more fuel to feed it. Won't do anything for a motor that isn't starving from the stock(or stockish) pump. Fuel injection... meh. Yeah, you can add a small percentage of power, but it's not going to be a huge bump, and it's going to be super expensive.

A good place to start is telling us what you have as far as motor, and anything you might have done to it already. Advice will be easier to give that way.

i have a 403 cid engine not quite sure bout the hp i guessing around 350+ thats cuz the engine is not stock

do you know what has been done to it... you can't arbitrarily throw parts at a mistery motor and expect results, is what I've been saying.

then again i think the motor might be stock.....hmm...im not really quite sure.
anyways if it was stock wat do u think i should do. cuz im not gonna work on my hp alot i just want it a lil bit high. then im working on my trans to get torque up. because hp aint really much without torque. ill talk to my bro or my uncle to see if the engine is stock then ill get back to u on that. i dont want to change carboraters because, factory carb. is better than a high performance carb. i could get new heads...

ill get a new camshaft for sure n fuel injection will go in for sure. cuz its more accurate than a carb.

i was reading a thing bout 403 engines n they say it only put out 185 hp but idunno...gotta do a lil more searching.

so i figured out wat my motor is it is a 403 its got 185 hp and 320 pounds of tourqe. so my shit is pretty good. i can use liike $500 n get it to around 300hp which will do me good with my tourqe. plus my rear end isnt stock i got 411 gears which add tourqe to my engine. so i just get new heads from a 68-70 and modify it to fit my engine n that should do me good with other modificatioin.

i was thinkin bout putting a 350 with headers in my car but im just gonna leave my shit alone because my tourqe will do fine for now.
