is your car an AWD model, and does this sound happen when you're going straight, turning, over a bump, etc, and does it change pitch when you do something?

no its just front wheel drive its the gs and it just makes the noise when im on pavement doesn't really change maybe when i pick up speed but around turns etc stays the same my bro is a mechanic he said it might be the tire is going bad but it looks almost new and it rides good no shaking or nothing

Sure it's not the wear indicators on the rear brakes? I'd be either checking the condition of your brakes or your bearings then. Also check to see if any of your suspension or anything at all is rubbing the tire, or close to it. I did some work on a neighbors Taurus a while back where the sway bar end link broke off and jabbed into her tire.

If you have them out far enough to check them, honestly just replace them. Won't hurt. Just remember to follow instructions and pack them with the proper grease if it calls for it. I would suggest buying a repair manual for your car, Haynes or Chilton. Chilton's usually is decent on the mechanical side, but they usually blow for wiring diagrams, anything outside of the engine control circuits. If you can afford it, buy both, thats what I did.
