Okay, so I'm looking for my first car (just turned 16), and I stumbled upon this '98 Mits Galant ES/LS on this used car lot, and I love it...So can anyone here tell me if I should get it or not. Okay so its going for $5,500 as the starting price. It has 90k miles on it. Its auto( have yet to master manual, plus parents don't trust me). Its fully loaded. Its in near to perfect condition. I'm going back monday, and taking to a mechanic, to see if he okays it. So how much should I offer the dealer for this car??? How reliable is a Mits Galant??? HOw many more miles can I probably get on this thing??? Are there a lot of problems on the galant, like I've heard.

Also, anyone have a carfax account, that will be willing to run the VIN

Yea i did, I really liked it, then again the engine was a little loud, and i think I heard some rumbling noises, but still a pretty smooth ride

If you have your own mecanic look at it and he says its okay then I say why not. Whats KBB on the car?!
