ok, i have a 2002 lancer oz ralli edition and i want to get the most horsepower out of it, without blowing up my engine. im also trying to make it into a show car, i can spend as much as 10,000 on the engine upgrade. so can someone tell me the best way to do it. i would like to put in a turbo and nos.

i would say turbo, new pistons, maybe bigger ones, higher flow fuel injecters, chip or mudule, or stand along engine managemeant systems, exhaust, and theres alot more.

get an evo swap. that will make your go REALLY fast. Keep an eye on your local junkyards

evo swap good idea. there are about 5 junkyards in my area i might get lucky and find an engine i good condition. it should fit just right, my model has the same frame, right?

id say find out if you can do the evo swap...the base lancer is FWD and i dunno of those half shafts you have stock will handle the power. id say just sell the car and buy a real EVO and do a bigger turbo and stroke it...all youd need to do the the outside is lower it, rims, and some cosmetic stuff....brakes, exhaust and your D U N DUN!

I Like The Idea Of An Evo Swap But Would Make That Really Kick Ass Is An Awd Conversion. If You Dont Like The Swap Idea, chevyboy69's got the right idea. Doing a Bore Out And Throwing In Bigger Pistons Would Be A Good Thing. But A Swap Would Be My First Choice And You'll Still Have Money Left Over, Depends....
