Im thinking about doing some service work on my Astra CD 2000 model myself.
This is because one mechanic jacked my vehicle up by the sump.Result a smashed sump . Another different mechanic jacked my car up by placing the
trolley jack under the boot well. Result ,under body damage.
Im intending to : Replace radiator coolent
Check and if needed change disk pads.
Replace motor oil ( familar with this )
Would anyone be able to give me any advise on replaceing the coolent as Im not familar with this. Also which coolent should I use.
As a matter of interest the car is well past its warranty period.
Also with regard to brake pads and rotors , are these a straight forward job for the handyman ( many a job on my old HG ,VW etc) or do they require special tools eg torx bits etc.
Any help welcome
regards
