I have a 98 jetta MK3 2.Slow 5 speed that just got a new tranny put in it
When i drove it home from the shop it felt weird but i thought it was because i have been driving my audi for a while, so today i go out to drive around in the jetta a little bit, maybe do a little burnout, Pull the E-brake, redline it, and drop the clutch... not even a chirp
the clutch feels like theres nothing there when i press down on it, maybe an adjustment problem?
I dont know why it wont engage like it used to, i just thought maybe i got used to the stiffer clutch on the audi, but the jetta's clutch seems a lot higher than it used to be and has almost no resistance to it.
My only guess is the shop ****ed up adjusting the clutch after they put the tranny in maybe? anyone have any ideas?
Oh yea, the clutch is new, only about less than 10k miles on it and 6 months old
