Does anyone know where the fuse is, or what number fuse it is, for the power outlets on a '04 Durango?

Are you talking about the fuse that would be put in place to power the 12v cigarette lighter outlets?

I have the same problem, blew the fuse to the 12 volt power outlet on the dash. Not the cigerette lighter but the one next to it that is powered all the time. Anyone know where the fuse for it is located?

Are you having problems with the battery or any other electrical issues? It could mean your alternator is going bad.

Another weird thing the speedometer doesnot register.

So I checked all the fuses and no problems there.

I found the fuse. Under the dash, up on the left side, there are 4 more fuses on the back side of the regular fuse panel. The 20 amp one is for the power outlets.

Also, I learned the hard way..... when you get a check engine light on the durango, check your battery. I ran the truck for about a two months with that light on, then it stopped dead in the middle of the road in front of my driveway. Of course after trying to start it 10 times. The battery was completely dead.

Worked fine till then......

I actually had to have a sensor installed.
