View Full Version : i need hp for my pontiac big block

:dunno: what to do. I got this car 2 years ago from florida it is a 83 cutlass it is an 83 hurst olds clone. ever thing is hurst olds stock but the motor. It has a pontiac 350 big block in it it is a 75 motor. it has edelbroke intake holey carb. and an biger cam in it. i need new heads for it . what heads do i need to put on it. to gain hp. and what else can i do to gain more hp. out of this motor. thanks greg

A 350 is a small block :)

As for heads, there are a lot of good choices available. What brands have you looked into so far?

pontiac engines are all the same from 326-455 buy some aluminum aftermarket heads.

Olds 350s are big blocks.

There is no such thing as a BOP big block.

Check out carcraft, they did a 455 build not to long ago. The web site might have a parts list for a 350 they did a while back.
