I have a 1991 Dodge Ram Van B-250 318 auto. The speedometer is very erratic and sometimes does not work at all. When speedometer stops working my van will not shift into overdrive. Easy fix????

I would take the transmission in to be checked out, most likely it is the switch or the OD solenoid on the transmission.
