driving this morning, i suddenly had a loss of acceleration. i tried to shift and i could hear it switch gears but could not get any acceleration. finally down in 1st it just quit. i can try starting it now, but it won't turn over.

any suggestions on what the problem could be?

Possible the fuel pump? Maybe check the relay and have the pump checked out. How is the service record on the car?

hmm yh sounds like a fuel pump prob but check intake as well i no that can cause this type of prob

it turned out to be a faulty ignition coil. my mechanic already has it up and running for me.
