I've got a 88 Cutty with I was told is a 350 but I aint sure what kind :S umm I bought new valve covers for it Chev 350 valve covers but the bolt pattern is different so I returned them then I got 350 Olds valve covers but it seems there is to many holes for bolts and not enough holes on the head :S it has
the bolt pattern is
3 bottom bolts and 2 top bolts
any ideas please help thanks

The only two motors available are the 2.8L V6 and the 5.0L V8 350. As for which 350 you have and bolt pattern, you'll have to just look at your pattern and then match it to the valve covers you're looking at. They obviously must vary the bolt patterns from year to year.

well I really have no clue :P and I even brought in 1 of my valve covers to a place and they didnt know but I guess I'll just have to keep searching

The 305 has smog heads... you're probably better off refinishing the stock ones.

Your Cutlass should have a vin code "Y" Olds 307 4bbl V8 if it still has the original motor. Canadian models had the Chevy 305 "H" engine.

what is the 8th digit in your vin??
