Hi, My 1990 Cadillac Fleetwood which is in good mechanical Condition she began hesitating when I accelerate then she picks up and acts like nothing is wrong. However she will hesitate with each acceleration.I had it recently tuned up. I was wondering if anyone out there might be able to give me some possibilitys why She's acting like this.Thank you for any input you may share.

Sounds like a slight misfire... might want to take it back where you have the tune-up done and have them check over everything again. Is it throwing any service engine soon light codes?

It could be a fuel filter restriction, fuel pump getting low on pressure, a timing issue. Many things could cause this.

My daughter is having the same problem with her 2000 DTS..
She said the service transmission came on?
Do you think the tranny could be shot? :dunno:

maybe the cadalitic converter...

could be bad pistons

take it to a diagnostic shop, before you start changing pistons.
