The lining on the roof is starting to fall down. Kind of looks like a giant bubble or something. Is there anyway to fix this and get it back up to its normal position? Or am I shit out of luck. I dont know if it matters but its a 97 BMW 740IL.

Re-gluing it would work; or simply re-lining it.

Maybe someone else has something of more value to offer?

you could remove the liner, and reglue it with spray adhesive. It's the best solution as the liner isn't flat but is in fact a compound curve..

If you aren't sure that you can do it yourself, let a professional repair it. I believe the headliner is about $895.00.
