I'm having problems with my 1999 regal. The front turn signals keep messing up for no apparent reason.
First the right one messed up and I pulled the bulb out slightly and it started working right but then the left one started doing the same thing. Now they are both acting weird.
Is there a problem with my socket?
I have no clue at this point.
Another issue is that my owners manual says that the turn signal bulbs are supposed to be 4175 NAK. I've went to wal-mart and o'reilley and all they have are 4157. So is there a typo in the owner's manual or do I have to get some kind of rare bulb?
Thanks, TH

Have you checked the fuses and relays? Also, by messing up, what do you mean? It doesn't like you need new bulbs if both went bad and you can wiggle them to make them work, it sounds more like an electrical problem to me.

Thanks for the reply, I checked the fuse, it's not that. As for the relays, I'm not sure what that is.
By messing up, I mean that it does the quick blinking thing like the bulb is burnt out but it is not. The bulb is working but not blinking. When I wiggle them they will work briefly. The thing that has me wondering the most is that both of them are doing it.

The bulbs are on the same circuit.. if one isn't working neither will.
