Big estate car concept debut thing
Lexus will have their new concept car on show in Birmingham next month. The LF-X concept car features "L-Finesse" which is the new design thinking that will shape the look of the next generation of Lexus showroom models.
LF-X (Lexus Future – Crossover) is a bold and dynamic vehicle that combines the visual presence of an SUV with the sleeker lines of a saloon car. Measuring almost five metres long, it is a six-seater powered by a 4.3-litre V8 engine.
Lexus will also be showing key models from its current UK range, including the RX300 the hideous SC430 coupe convertible and the flagship LS430 luxury saloon.

Kinda bland, they could do a little work on the front end and whatnot..... at least it's clean design, though. At least they realize SUV's don't need to be so big to take up one and half lanes and weigh as much as construction equipment.

The side profile is almost Integrale-like. But the overall shape is bland.

The rims look like they were taken straight from the BMW 7 series.

Very good comments..
Personally I think if they are going to work this concept so much, which I'm sure will make production they really should change the color.

didn't the TL concept have that slash through the headlights too? As always Lexus emulates the competition...
The front 1/4 view looks too much like the FX45 with a new nose.
the molds for the front bumper were taken from the dumpster behind the Dogde Intrepid factory. (why stoop so low, they usually copy more exclusive models?)
I do, however, like that top mounted, forward leaning antenna

Of course the TL and HPX both were shown to the world on the same day, so that would be impossible.
Hmmm, Seeing it in the flesh it seems to be easily distinguishable from the FX45, of course the FX coined the styling first. The FX's styling is surley more hit or miss than this.
Of course you are reaching with that Intrepid comment... muahahaha
**** that antenna...

I would like a more masculine, bold front end, that's my only true complaint. you know half my insults towards Lexus are meant only to provoke a response from you mecca. it's half the fun in coming here. strike that. all the insults are true opinions, but they're shared 1/2 the time only to provoke a response. indeed

Who cares who they're copying? It's bland, albeit a clean design, it's still bland.
LOL@Mecca's antenna comment. :)

It looks like somebody is trying to compete against the Infiniti FX/Nissan Murano market...shame shame Lexus! :)

lol@trying to compete, sales wise I'm sure Toyota owns both the FX and the Murano.
