I am selling my 1998 Lexus GS400.
The car has a lot of modifications and has won a number
of shows during 2003.
The car is diamond pearl white with all factory
options except for navigation and heated seats.

lol @ all the factory options but heated seats and naviagtion, those are pretty much the only options on it. You obviously don't have the 17" chrome wheels or the Nakamichi Stereo.

Acura is just a rebadged honda, and nothing different. Take them emblems off of a Honda and Acura and you can't tell the difference.

If I had the money I'd get a TL over any of the cars that are its price (consdienrg I already had a sports car and wasn't intersted in a sporty rally inspired car..

The RSX is a tight car. But really, anything above the TSX I wouldn't say there's better cars but, car's I'd rather get. Still take an Acura over a Lexus anyday... i'm not one for bland, soft, overpriced cars.

IS300 is a great value, ask anyone.
GS430 is a great value, ask anyone.
LS430 is a great value, ask anyone.

SUVs I'll not even talk about.. I don't know much about the GX, but the LX is proven, being that it is a land cruiser. Hardly overpriced... Still better than Acura Accords.

Say what you will about Lexus, they are still more advanced than Acura.

One thing I can say is that in Lexus will be Lexus sooner than later while Acura will still be Honda, but.. shit is funny.

I really don't have much of a problem with lexus, I used to like them a lot actually. I always thought the LS430 was a fine car without a doubt. i dunno, though, the style they had going got old and kind of boring pretty quick as the years went on. Most of the time I'm just kidding around when I talk about lexus, i'm well aware they make fine cars... just not my taste.

Like I said earlier, the Acura lineup does need some updating big time, and i've always been more of a Honda fan, anyway. I just do think they have some very good qualities going for them. honda will always come on top over toyota for me, but with acura vs lexus I think, for me, the low end (RSX, TSX vs IS300, etc) I like the acura's more but above that I'd have to go with lexus. Of course i'd take any BMW over lexus, but that's just considering the two.

Toyotas Suck period, name one decent car they make now, and well lexus uses their chassis and parts so I dont know I suddenly look at a lexus SC4fugly40 and think, my that is an ugly worthless toyota.

and then i look at a Honda and wish that they never made a civic, for the sake of not having every teen with them souping them up, and then realise that they make good cars to start with and that Acura uses their parts.
so I look at a TL and go DAMN! that looks nice and think hey its a hopped up honda with leather. Still better then a toyota with leather.

Plus hard to say this for how much I loved the GS400, but its ruined now, the GS400 was such a better car, and the TL just kicks too much ass now.

I got to drive a 2004 EL the other day, not a bad little car for the money, nice interior. I wouldn't get one, though.

Well, Honda is selling the European Accord here as the Acura TSX, which is a ridiculous amount of money for a 4-banger. Hey, I like the car, but the price is a little steep, eh?

Perhaps for a 4cly sedan it's a lot but you get a very nice, powerful 4cyl for the money. Not to mention a whole host of no-cost options including autotranny. Put it against the C230 Kom sedan and it's a steal, not to mention great fuel economy and a slick 6-speed if you want. It's also faster then the Saab equivalent and aforementioned Mercedes.
