I love Integras GSRs and Type Rs... The rest are not for me.

Yeah integs are cool ass cars. I wouldnt mind owning a GS-R as a daily driver or something. Of course it would need a JDM ITR face just like this :)

that's a nice integra, but i've seen much much better. I dont really care about type R's because the whole point is building your own... not getting the best from the factory.
These are some of my favorite tegs

Surely, I love Integras GS offers solid performance for money and the GS-R and Type R are very quick.

I'd LOVE a Type R, just because of the cool shit going on in them... the chassis re-welding, the helical limited slip diff, the awesome factory alloys, etc. Then again a GS-R would be cool too... and the GS (RS w/ GS-R suspension, right?) and RS are good-looking and there's nothing wrong with 142hp (but I've heard they're geared tall)...
I just find that they go for way too much used for me to really get into them. Attractive cars, sure, but there's much better performance-per-$$$ choices, and hell, I've always been a Prelude guy.

yeah, it was basically between a 4th gen lude SR or a newer 96 Integra for me, I found my Prelude was much quicker, even if it is a bit heavier then the Tegs.

Car and Driver got a 15.6s 1/4 mile from a '92 Si/SR. That's pretty damn quick. Hell, even the base F22 Prelude's supposed to be good for mid-16s... it's as powerful as the '88-91 Si, and as quick as the '92-95 Civic Si.
I don't entirely love the looks of the 4th gen. Prelude, but still they're really good, all-around competent cars. A tad expensive used 'tho...

I agree - there's an electron blue 4th gen outside with carbon hood, dropped about 2 inches on black 16 " rotas with tanabe exhaust and jdm foglights - it's really really good looking. I'd love one of those, but for now i'll be working on my teg ... I guess I'm just used to having 4 doors.

Cool stuff. Does it have the really attractive 6-spoke alloys?

Unfortunately no, but I really want to have one of the few integras that's serious about suspension and engine work, but look stock. I'll stay with the stock rims and run sticky tires.

I thought thats the whole point of buying a japanese sports car. Be it a civic type R or an NSX.

I'm a sucker for 80's prelude esp the 3rd gen. The 5th looks really cool since it got the 3rd gen feel to it. the 4th gen IMO is just horrible.(no offence DriveGT :p)

Somehow I find Preludes dramatic stylingwise, never liked the look of those cars. I think the 4th gen looks best...

None taken, I too love the 5th gen but they were out of my price range. I love my car, it's quick as an RSX, handles fantasticly, reliable and a blast to drive.

The last gen prelude looks the best IMO - I love that sort of flat , low look that G2 integras share with it

I'm just saying that I view these cars as things that are meant to be modified, and a lot of the time all I hear about is type R's. For the same amount of money you could build a better performing honda.
hondamatic
10-13-2003, 02:25 PM
That's true, but the Type R is a homologated racecar and has a lot of trick shit done to it that would cost a lot to do on your own (it has a reinforced chassis, a hell of a nice differential, very expensive wheels and an engine that's re-worked to do 8500). Then again, if you aren't building a car to do the same things, you're probably better off not getting a Type R. Prepping a GS-R to Type R-level would cost a lot more than just buying a Type R...

See what I mean? You'll never heard the word "pimp-ass" coming out from electronlude if that interga is bone-stock with the factory wheel and no kits whatsoever :o
charliey07

well it's not like it's some retarded ugly kit and it's not like it doesn't have a costly front end JDM conversion ( which is very pimp )
