I just got my 2005 STi about six months ago and it's still bone stock. I really want to add some bolt-ons and maybe some new rims but I don't know where to start. Anyone have any suggestions or input on what they have done and where is a good place to start adding stuff on. I love the overall power and handling but I am just ready for some more excitement. What will give me the best bang for my buck?

Depends on what kind of excitement you want?

If you want moderately more power i would say a Nice Downpipe and Exhaust system,Intake and some kind of Engine managment like COBB,Ecutek,or UTEC.

Wheels are totally up to you but just make sure they are close to the same weight as the stock BBS wheels. Heavier will make your car slower.

Springs and sway bars are a great upgrade suspension wise,Again this realy depends on what you want out of the car.

If you search on www.Nasioc.com or www.IWSTI.com or even just ask around and see what others with similar wants from their car are using will give you good idea of what might be right for you.

Good luck

Best bang for your money would be a 3" cat-less Turbo Back Exhaust and a manual boost controller. That should give you a 30-35 hp increase and not require a ECU flash. This will allow you to increase and hold boost without tapper, and improve spool up.

Then bolt on a Perrin EBCS and a UTEC. Custom tune, Now your another 30-35 hp more. Add a 100octane tuned map to the utec and gain another 30-35 whp.
Tell me when to stop.
Opps, I forgot ask if you meant bolt on's as in non- EM.

COBB Tuning has some awesome stuff. Check them out if you haven't yet.

Although I believe they have much potential with their Street Tuner. I have yet to see many High whp cars made with it. I have seen many give it up due to software bugs and get a utec :dunno:

Ecutec reflashes are popular as well, yet don't give room for a race gas tuned map. :(

I haven't heard of bugs but I've been out of the Subaru loop for a while. I figure a simple tune and exhaust would serve his needs as he hasn't even started modding yet.
