Auto: Originally- 207hp Now- 197hp
Some argue the revised 238hp is still too high, with RX-8 dynos coming in around the mid-180s.
Ford/Mazda overrates their hp numbers almost as often as Nissan overrates their 0-60s ;)

LOL@them downplaying the situation... 4% is a healthy enough drop in a sportscar, especially this one. Power that could be freed by an intake...

what really concerns me is if people are only being able to dyno them into the 180s, then is Mazda still inflating the numbers?

the 13bt couldn't meed the continually raising emissions standards. That is the main reason for the new engine.

I just drove one today, well, yesterday, and they are pretty neat cars. The only car I compare it to that I drove is the 350...and the 350 owns it in speed and power..
