It's not hard at all to install a deck. Give me a little bit (I just got home from the SEMA show in Vegas) and I'll post some general instructions for you when I get back from eating.

You have to remove the dash bezel first off. That might have some 7mm headed screws under the dash pannel but I belive it is just a snap in application. Then the headunit itself will be held in with 4 trim style screws with 7mm or torx heads. I am unsure which you have in yours they varey year to year. Then slide the deck out and unplug the harness from the back of the head unit. The unit should have 4 distinct harness leads with push snaps. Remove those and then before you start cutting anything.. DO not cut anything. Reason being there are several plug in harnesses available for that truck defintely get your hands on one of those. Reason being if you sell the truck or ever put the stock one back in. I will consult with my sources if you need more info or take apart my silverado and let you know.
GOOD LUCK!

Ok Good. First off, what is a dash bezel? I have a 04 tahoe. I'll give it a try tomorrow. Thank you!

It is the trim peice that surrounds the radio and heating controls and the dash cluster

So I got everything unscrewed. However, when I try to slide it out, it seems as if the wires in the back are keeping the deck from sliding all the way out, making it impossible to unplug the deck. Do I need to unscrew anything else? Thanks

From what I remember the bezel just pops out (no screws) you should only need to push in the tabs on the radio and pull it out it might have screws but I think it has tabs also........ sometimes the antenna wire doesnt have much slack and you might be able to acces the connections through the glove box or from the underside of the dash
