Drying leather will shrink so you should use a leather conditioner
regularly.

actually you should never use the cheap leather conditioner.... it contains a lot of chemicals that make the leather look "shiny" but that is wax and water basically.... its not helping the leather.... spend the cash for the maguiers stuff.... and not the one that for making it look "shiny" because you can just buy the cheap one for that, buy the one that makes cures or make it "healthy"....... another factor is where you live... is it humid there? is it always get cold? any of those can make it shrink, just like when you wash clothes, NEVER WASH LEATHER!
