i would love to see JPM up there.... but being a McL supporter, i should say i want Kimi to win. but thats highly unlikely since the nature of the track wont permit that. it's a top speed and high BHP track. Either Ferrari or Williams wil win. and i expect Sauber will be strong too esp with their b-spec engine which much more powerfull than the rest even the McLarens....

If no unforseen problems for Ferrari then it can be a Ferrari 1-2. I base this on the fact that the F2002 has won this year at venues that didn't suit Ferrari's in the past (Imola, Brazil). Ferrari's have the better fuel economy even if Michelin brings a better tire then Bridgestone (which I doubt). This isn't Monaco so even if Williams qualify better, the race will give way to favour Bridgetone shod cars. That's my prediction.

I want Montoya to win too, but I won't be surprised to see a Ferrari winning.

I'm guessing Michelin had a good start with tires because of last years results. One may bring up Monaco about how the tires weren't consistant and tapered off in performance rather drastically. Last year Bridgestone admittedly said their tires were too soft, so this year Ferrari is happy with the Montreal spec. Bridgestones.

Ferrari didn't do any qualifying setups today, they were mainly working on tire setups and sector times rather then overall fast laps. I think McLaren are running qualifying setups, perhaps Williams as well. The qualifying will be close but I beleive the race will be a different story.

motoya will win as long he didnt hit the wellcome wall.....:D he's esp good with high speed and late braking manuvere. MS is not that good on high speed straight and low speed turn. but he is amazing in sweeping corners and high speed bends in which montreal dont have... either Ralf will win or ruby. McL not likely, saubers will be better than the rest with the moza spec ferrari engine which is suited for high speed... that is, if assuming renault dont have anything up their sleeves...

Hmmm... where did you hear of Sauber receiving new spec engine? I haven't read anything about that.

Yeh I'm glad Ferrari won their 150th GP in Canada. I agree with Rubens the safety car shouldn't have been diployed, they could have easily rolled the car backwards behind the wall. They basically did it to bunch up the field again. I was upset that Rubens didn't pass Coulthard, but he straight lined the chicance and David didn't have to give his position away.

All in all good race, so much for Williams being the most reliable. Michael is going to smash the record of most wins in a season this year. I'm guessing 12-13 races.
