hey what exactly is the Auto-X. I have yet to go to one, but i hear a lot about it.

Think of the largest parking lot in town. Now take a hundred pylons and form a track on it. Then let people do 3-5 timed runs to see who's the fastest. Next week do it all over again, but with a totally different course. :)

It's fun as you get to test your and your car's ability for relatively little money ($20 per event usually), it doesn't require any safety stuff except a helmet (an open faced motorcycle one will do), and you can do it in any car you want to. Speeds usually don't go much over 60mph, but doing 60mph on a parking lot is a lot scarier than it sounds :D

sounds like carpark rally....

$20 in a closed off parking lot is better than trial and error in the street. Plus, you don't need to worry about getting hassled by the cops.
