Enlighten me as to how a team with Jaguar's financial backing is so horrible.

because ford has their dick up nascar's ass.

nascar is cheap compared to F1 though, so i dunno. RacingManiac will probably give a 5 page analysis :).

They don't have good engineers, they don't have a good team leader (Lauda sucks), they don't have all the necessary equipment (wind tunnel), and overall just don't have what it takes. F1 always required a bit more than just a constant suply of money.

The windtunnel they developed the F3 in was wrongly calibrated and generally the Jaguar F1 team doesn't have the right people, organisation etc. I feel sorry for Niki Lauda.

What he said. Jagaur until this season was using the Ford wind tunnel in the States. Then the data had to be analysed and applied in europe. Man Jaguar needs to buy some engineering talent soon.

Nah no 5 page, just a few lines.....

What's needed to be said is already said. IMO when Rahal was at the helm they might turn for the better, but then he was sacked because Lauda doesn't like him. The whole management process needs to be rethink in that team. I mean how can a team after a full winter development of a new car and came to the first race and said they did it all wrong. That was just ridiculous.....

Agreed, Rahal was at least doing a half-decent job :)

I guess it's kinda the same situation with Toyota, they have a large financial backing, their drivers aren't half bad, and i've heard their car has huge HP. It boggles the mind.

One thing I think that's bringing down Jaguar is Eddie I., he's way too over rated and a bit stuck up. Jaguar needs to get organized.

Toyota is actually performing well.....for a completely new package. Jaguar actually have experience carried over from Stewart GP(which have won BTW), I can't understand why the sudden difference by switching brand name....
