The race was boring as snot, but I didn't particularly care because Ferrari totally outclassed the competition. I expected Ferrari to be the team to beat but I didn't expect by that much of a margin. You could see it in Ralph's face. Ferrari was on equal fuel loads and were nearly a second a lap faster then the Williams.
Man the F2002 is the perfect package! Best Chassis, best engine, best tire, best driver.
Barcelona has a long straight so there will be a good passing opportunities. SHould make for a more interesting race.

Yep, the F2002 is that good. Looks like Ferrari won the lead back for the constructors too.

I wasn't particularly fond of that track, to be quite honest. I only saw that one nice pass right near the end of the race, and that was about it.
If Ferrari continues this trend throughout the whole season, it's not even going to be worth getting up to watch.

Yeah, got to hand it to Ferrari, they were simply unstoppable. But and this is a major point, their most major advantage is probably not their new F2002, but the fact that they and Bridgestone now have a completely open relationship and they have the best tires, which is the most important thing. That paired with the fact that the F2002 and the Williams BMW car are pretty close, it's not suprising. BMW's fractionally better power is not going to do the job. Ralf and Montoya have to step it up.

Well it's ahrd to say really. The Bridgestones did not perform very well with the F2001. Although the tires were design to run on the F2002. Teh rear suspension was designed to run with the latest spec BS and drastically redued rear tire wear.
YOu have to look at Brazil...on a track that Ferrari historicallywasn't very competitive at, the temps reaching into Michelin country. The wins are a combination of tires car and driver. One thing really can't be singled out.
