Last race, Montoya(?) cuts him off and tears off Schumy's front downforce spoiler. Ending his race.

Today's race in brazil, Montoya clips Schumy's rear tire and puts himself out of contention for the lead.

Schumy's new car, has a gearbox that shifts in 25 milliseconds where as most F1's shift around 80 milliseconds.

Geez! I can't comprehend how insanely fast that is.

Actually, it's only about 3 times faster than the one in the new BMW M3. And they all shift at .025 milliseconds, they'd do it faster but the rules don't allow it (or so I believe).

Well, that's not what the tech expert for ESPN said.

Tech experts and ESPN don't go hand in hand.

I'm 99.99% sure that all teams have equally fast shifting gearboxes and they're all limited by the rules.

BMW M3 SMG: 0.08 seconds to shift at the hardest setting.

Ferrari F1 (road cars) system: 0.15 seconds to shift.

Thought I might add that hehe.

I think both the ITV people and Speed Channel people also mentioned about the faster shifting gearbox on the Ferrari.....I mean that's not impossible, remember in 2000, F1-2000's gearbox was made to shift faster than usual "maximum shift time"(they limit the maximum time for shifting, not minimum, because at the time if you let gearbox shift longer than the extra time could be use as TCS) and use the rest of the time to emulate the effect of TCS system.....

ESPN Tech expert, there's an oxymoron if I've ever heard one.
