Great machine, but doesn't look like anything too be terrified of as of yet...but I'm sure it has many tweeks left to be done. With the new car and their more downforce conscious setup, Schumacher was pulling little Schumacher in the straights, very impressive.

Ironic how the F2001 failed while the F2002 prevailed. Everyone expected it to be the opposite.

only a 6 point lead, that could all change in one race.

Little S. still had the fastest trap speeds (or did Monty?), but the F2002 is a pretty large improvement. Also, they're going to need at least one or two races to get the setups working right before they really start flying, so I'm sure we'll see Williams do something too.

WOw the F2002 is incredible. I think the only thing now standing between Ferrari and the hcmpaionship aer the tires. It's obvious now that the F2002 chassis and 051 V10 is a match for the slippery Williams and BMW V10. All this on hard compound Bridgestones. I was so surprised that it did a one stopper, as was everyone else.

The best part is that's not even the full blown F2002. The reason why Ferrari managed to bring only one car was because there wasn't enough tmie to assemble both revolutionary transmissions. And the transmissions they used were B versions. The real F2002 chassis are in Maranello, and both will debue at Imola.

I'll tell you 2 things though that are for certain; Williams BMW will take the contrsutors championship this year from Ferrari, also Montoya need to stop this vendeta against Michael before I does something really stupid.

Are you going to Canadian GP and smack Montoya's head?:D

F2002 in Brazil was already quite different from the launch version and the one they test in Fiorano, they seem to have more need for extra cooling of the engine so they put 2 more holes on the end of the side pod under that small winglet.....

But if this is what the car can do with less gripy tire and less than perfect setup, this car will be very strong....

Montoya pledges revenge on Schumacher

Juan Pablo Montoya has vowed to get even with Michael Schumacher following their clash in the Brazilian Grand Prix.
Montoya was incensed by Schumacher's track tactics in Sunday's race after ramming into the back of the German's Ferrari on the opening lap.

Now the Williams-BMW driver has said that he will gain his revenge on the four-time world champion who went on to triumph in the race to extend his lead in this year's title battle.

"We now know what the rules are," said Montoya who eventually finished fifth after being forced into a first lap pit-stop for a new front wing following the collision.

"I gave him room at the first two corners then he cuts across me. Next time I will just do the same as him."

Schumacher had insisted after colliding with Montoya for the second successive race that he was not at fault and refused to respond to the South American's claim that he was an unfair driver.

The hostility between the two drivers is threatening to become as intense and bitter as that between Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost in the late 1980's and early 1990's.

But Ferrari's technical director Ross Brawn insisted the Italian team did not intend to let that rivalry escalate and ruin the prospect of exciting races in the remaining Grand Prix.

"There have been too many accidents at the start of races but it won't get out of hand from our side," said Brawn.

"Michael is very relaxed about it. He recognises Juan Pablo is a good driver and a very competitive driver. Michael does not have any problem with Juan Pablo.

"I guess if you get the same two drivers at the front of the grid all the time its inevitable that they are going to have a hard battle.

"I think it just needs a bit of reflection on what happened to find a way of not destroying races at the start.

"We lost our race in Malaysia because of it and they have lost their race because of it here. It does not help anyone in the long run."

Schumacher is obviously more mature then Montoya. When an incident involving him goes to his favour it's the other driver';s fault. When the incident involving him goes in favour of the Schumacher it's Schumacher's fault.

What are you making referance to? What has he done in recent years that you can roll your eyes? I'm looking at now so before you start dedging stuff from his past why do you go ahead and read this;

http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines02/04/s9039.html

" It set up the start everyone had wanted to see and Schumacher and Montoya didn't disappoint. Montoya moved across from pole to try and cut the German off into Turn 1, but misjudged his braking and ran wide. This left the pair battling side by side around Turn 2, with Schumacher gaining the advantage as they exited Turn 3. Montoya tried to fight back into Turn 4, but seemed to misjudge his move, his front wing clipping the rear of the Ferrari, ripping it off his Williams and leaving the Colombian to limp back to the pits and face another fight back through the field."

Lets not confuse someone actually willing to step up to Schumacher with someone with a "vendetta."

Yes but he's taking it too far. He said he's giong to get back at Schumacher...not by winning the next race, but by doing what "alegid" blocking move Schumacher did on Montoya. There's a difference.
