Not really I think...the rain shuffled the results. Only 20 or so mins of dry runs and most people only got one or two runs in.

Oh wow, what an amazing race! Once again though, I believe that F1 cars all become equal in the rain and it is souly driver in that condition. Only shows why Schumacher is the highest paid driver. He just pulled away and led to the victory. When rain hits Schumacher takes over! He alone made 85 million dollars last year. Speedvision made a comment that he's the highest paid sport person, but that doesn't seem right.

At one point in the race, he was 50 seconds ahead or Montoya. How did he pull that off?

Schumi did great, that pass was a "thinking man's pass", Montoya was setup all they way since the last corner and got into turn one in defensive, slower line, and practically gave Schumi the position....and he just sailed away....
I am just too happy for Toyota team. Got 1 point on the first race, couldn't ask for a better debut for a new team. And how about that Mark Webber....he just had the time of his life!

Go Toyota. I bet they're just beside them selves right now...

Heh kepone, you missed a MS/JPM fight which was almost as good as getting laid...best 5 laps I've seen in months.
The start was strange...I have to see an incar from ralf's car before making any decisions.
The big accident actually wasn't caused by RS/RB colliding, but by Heidfield hitting Panis (I think?) and taking another 3 people out him :)
I'm extremely happy for Minardi and Webber.
Salo is an idiot, like I said a countless number of times before. He doesn't deserve his seat.
Toyota did all right, although I wouldn't call their result representative of what's going to happen this season.
This were probably the only points Jaguar will score.
Other than that, pretty decent race. The first half has some great fights, the second half was slower but the end was good as well (Webber/Salo).

Oh, one thing I forgot to mention...Speed Channel's commentators. Holly crap, who was that dumb hick...Rick something? What happened to Bob Varsha and Sam Posey? Those guys really love the sport and actually know what's going on around them. This idiot kept mentioning how Monotya could go for a 'no-stopper'. WTF is he on? Stupid jokes which only made the other guys quiet, not knowing the sport, constantly comparing it to NASCAR...why? Luckily Matchett and Hobbs were there to save the day when needed. But Rick the Hick has got to go...soon!

HAHAHA I know what an idiot! I noticed that to. I thank God for TSN's coverage because atleast Walker and Allen are good commentators. SPEED Channals coverage has gone to shit. I'm totally UNimpressed by the coverage compared to last years.
