shouldve been.... but he's too old for that. first ever WRC group A event in full season, won it (pending on FIA). last year he gave Panizzi a serious run for his money, cant wait to this year San Remo event.

He is probably going to be big once Citroen commit to full championship in 2003.....lets just see how many of the 7 Rallies Citroen is running this year he can win....

7 out of what? 12 rounds?
if Sebastian can win 4 out of that 7 he would win the championship!!! theoraticly.
i think he got the tarmac rally in his hands, just wanna see how he can adjust himself on the gravel in a Group A car.
i reckon makinen will be big this year and ford will slump down... Burns is promising too, but due to fact that Pug are not interested in the Driver champ, might hampers his chances.

Loeb will get second place, Citroen will lose the appeal. We will never know if Makinen would have caught him without the 2 minute penalty, now Tommi and Subaru instead played it safe as they knew he was going to win.
Anyways, Loeb had an unfair advantage over others as he had already been driving the course in an earlier race, lets see how he fairs in unfamiliar roads.

In theory he is probably very good with most of the rally, at least the ones they ran in 1600 class along side the WRC rounds.....Tommi had a good point, this year's Monte is the driest in years, so it became basically a tarmac round, and for the French driver like Loeb who honed his skill on tarmac, it was probably pretty easy in a tarmac tuned Citroen.....
The car is probably pretty good on gravel as well as they finished 6th last year in the only gravel event it ran, the Acropolis rally....

are you sure about the statement that loeb been driving the course in the earlier race?
if it's true, then what comes around comes around.
newayy..... i got my money on Makinen this year. although i'm still pissed that he moved to subaru. I've heard inside rumour that he said the Evo7 feels like a station wagon when he first tested it. that's why he decieded to move to subaru at the end of the season abruptly. Mitsu were so suprised with his action that they dont have enough time to actually look for drivers. its like Schumi suddenly moved to McLaren after Ferrari tought he was comfy there.
you would expect the evo7 could get a good result esp after extensive development in middle of 2001. but to have a car that is barely passable performance on group A just dissapoints makinen too much.
